
ECCO Safety Group (ESG), a leading global manufacturer of commercial and emergency vehicle warning and safety products and a Clarience Technologies company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Powell as the new Managing Director for ECCO Safety Group Europe effective immediately.
Steve Powell joins ECCO Safety Group with a wealth of experience in the commercial vehicle market, having previously served as Managing Director CV Europe (Commercial Vehicle Europe) for Safe Fleet, a Clarience Technology company and sister company to ECCO Safety Group. Prior to this Steve held the position of Vice President at Webasto, overseeing the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) business unit. His extensive background includes various roles at Webasto, where he played a pivotal role in developing and executing sales, marketing, and product engineering strategies for the automotive industry.
As Managing Director EMEA, Steve will lead the ECCO, LED Autolamps, Code 3 brands across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His responsibilities will encompass operations at ESG's facilities in Leeds, UK; Ulm, Germany; and Meyzieu, France. In conjunction to his appointment at ESG, Steve Powell will remain Managing Director for Durite Limited, Harwich, UK.
With his deep expertise in both operational and commercial aspects of the OE and aftermarket sectors, Steve is uniquely positioned to drive growth and innovation within the ESG EMEA business unit.
